Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards Unveils 2024 Honours Class

In a spectacular celebration of global talent, the Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards (ABGMA) has proudly announced its 2024 Honours Class, showcasing a diverse group of exceptional individuals from the worlds of media, music, fashion, and humanitarian advocacy. As part of the 10th Annual Awards Festival, these honorees will be celebrated for their incredible contributions both nationally and internationally, highlighting the core values of leadership, cultural impact, and humanitarian work that the ABGMA holds dear.

The ABGMA, a staple event in Antigua and Barbuda’s cultural calendar, will take place from November 28th to December 1st, 2024, culminating in the prestigious Legacy Ball & Media Awards on Saturday, November 30th. This highly anticipated event is set to honor luminaries who have left a profound mark on their respective fields, elevating the spirit of Caribbean culture and beyond.

The 2024 Honours Class

Legacy Award

- Dave Lester Payne (Antigua): A well-respected radio and television host, Payne has made his mark on the Antiguan media landscape through his long standing career at Observer Radio by Newsco. His voice has become synonymous with integrity and journalistic excellence in the Caribbean.

  - Arthur Roland (USA): A celebrated Southern Gospel artist and humanitarian, Roland’s work extends beyond music. He is recognized for his advocacy on social justice issues and his philanthropic efforts in the U.S., making him a true embodiment of the Legacy Award’s values.

Global Humanitarian Award
