Dominica's Carnival, known as ‘The Real Mas’. Every year, people from all corners of the world flock to this picturesque island to immerse themselves in the pulsating rhythms of bouyon music, the kaleidoscope of colourful costumes, and the infectious spirit of revelry. 

Gabriella Esprit, contestant number four, participation as the first-ever Dominica Girl Guides Association representative is a historic moment for the organization, which has long been committed to developing young women into confident leaders. Her involvement in the pageant is a testament to the values of service, empowerment, and resilience that the Girl Guides instill in their members.

Olympic medallist Julien Alfred returned to Saint Lucia, where she was met with cheers and celebration at Hewanorra International Airport. Stepping off the plane to an emotional welcome, Alfred was greeted by Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre, government officials, and the Saint Lucia Olympic Committee.

Thea Lafond-Gadson, a standout triple jumper, made history on August 9, 2024, at the Paris Olympics by breaking the current triple jump record and winning Dominica’s first-ever Olympic gold medal.
